Last week, a track from the band BuckCherry leaked on to BitTorrent well ahead of the album’s full released. Almost immediately, the band’s label, Atlantic Records, leaked a press release proclaiming they were outraged over the leak. “Honestly, we hate it when this s*** happens, because we want our FANS to have any new songs first,” the band is quoted as saying. Which is great, expect for the fact that as Torrent Freak notes, the band leaked the track themselves to drum up publicity.
